AI automation for Shopify brands: inbox, Meta ads, Klaviyo, and custom operational flows that run without you. Built once. Runs forever. You own it.
Sound familiar?
Not generic business problems. The specific, daily frustrations of ecommerce operators at your stage. All with the same root cause.
Every send starts the same: open the editor, stare at it, push it again. You know you should be emailing more consistently and refreshing Meta creative, but "figure out what to say" loses to everything else. Half of marketers take 2+ weeks to ship one email. That's what happens when one person carries strategy, copy, design, and approval all at once.
Spend $5K/month on Meta with a $1,500 retainer plus 15% of spend? That's $2,250 in agency fees before a dollar reaches a customer. In return: a PDF of impressions, no access to your own account, no explanation of what was tested or why. The ads run. But in place of results, all you see is more money going out the door.
Order tracking, returns, "do you have this in blue?" Not hard problems, just constant. 20–40% of ecommerce tickets are customers asking where their order is. The average merchant takes 12 hours to reply; customers expect 30 minutes. One operator was burning 25–30 hours a week on the inbox alone. A full-time job on top of the actual job.
Every hour writing ad copy from scratch or answering routine tickets is an hour not on product, partnerships, or the next launch. $500K in revenue with manual processes will not become $2M the same way. The bottleneck isn't your product or your market. It's the operating system underneath.

Why this exists
Vastra Outdoors is my brand. For a long time, managing it meant being the customer service rep, the copywriter, the ad manager, and the operator, all at once. The inbox was a daily drain. Every new ad started from a blank page. The agency handling part of my marketing sent reports I couldn't verify on channels I couldn't access. I was spending money on things I couldn't see into, couldn't interpret, and couldn't improve.
First, I automated the inbox: AI classifies every message, handles routine questions, and flags what needs me. I check exceptions, not everything. Then a daily Meta report: a plain-language summary of what ran, what changed, what's burning budget. No Ads Manager login. Then Klaviyo: Claude designs the full campaign, writes the copy, maps the sequence, and mocks up every email. I review and approve. I don't write it anymore.
I didn't build these systems to start an agency. I built them because I needed them. After they were running, our latest product drop pulled 23.76% of its revenue from Meta and Klaviyo. Channels that didn't exist at Vastra before. Not unoptimized. Didn't exist. The systems freed the time that built them. Other Shopify operators have the same tools and the same bottleneck. It's not knowledge. It's bandwidth.
What we build
Every engagement starts with a diagnosis. No pre-packaged solutions. We identify what's actually costing you money and time, then build the fix. Here are the four highest-ROI areas for Shopify brands.
Your inbox moves whether you're watching or not. AI reads every message, classifies it, and handles the routine stuff: WISMO, returns, product questions. Anything needing a decision gets flagged. You open your inbox to 3 items that need you, not 47 threads to sort through.
Every morning a plain-language report hits your inbox: what ran, what changed, what's burning budget, what's working. No Ads Manager login. When you need creative, brief the system, pick from the options, launch. No guessing whether it's a good week.
Stop being the copywriter. Become the approver. Describe the objective, audience, and offer; Claude designs the full sequence: copy, segments, timing, and visual mockups for every email. You approve or push back. Campaigns ship in your voice without you spending six hours in an editor.
Not every store has the same bottleneck. We start with a 30-minute call to map where time and revenue are leaking, then scope a build targeted at the actual gap. That might be all three systems above. It might be one.
The process
No six-week discovery phases. No black boxes. No systems only we can maintain. Here's what happens from call to handoff.
A 30-minute call to find the highest-ROI automations for your store: what's leaking revenue, what's eating your time, what's already in your stack vs. what needs to be built. You leave with a clear picture of what's possible, whether we work together or not. No proposal theater.
A 2–4 week sprint. You see everything: workflows, logic, triggers. Nothing goes live until you've approved it. We build on tools with active communities and enterprise-grade reliability (n8n, Instantly, Claude), so you're never dependent on a stack only we can run.
We hand off the system with documentation, credentials, and a walkthrough so you can run it yourself. No retainer to keep the lights on. Ongoing optimization is available if you want it, never required. "We build it, you own it" is the contract, not a slogan.
Vastra Outdoors is the founder's own ecommerce brand. The original use case Alvo Systems was built to solve. Real systems, run on a real store, before we built them for anyone else.
Running Vastra meant writing every ad from scratch whenever creative went stale, which was often. Email was inconsistent: some months regular, some months nothing. The inbox was a daily task I could never get ahead of. And the marketing I outsourced came back as reports I couldn't verify, on channels I couldn't access. I was paying for work I couldn't see into and couldn't learn from.
First, inbox automation: every message classified, routine handled, exceptions flagged. I went from monitoring everything to reviewing only what needs a decision. Second, a daily Meta report: a plain-language summary of yesterday, plus on-demand creative when I need it. Third, Klaviyo: Claude designs full campaigns end-to-end (copy, sequence, mockups) and I just approve. All three ran on my own store before I built them for anyone else.
On Vastra's most recent product drop, Meta and Klaviyo together drove 23.76% of revenue. Neither channel existed before the automation infrastructure to run them. Not bigger budget. Not better product. The systems handled the operational load, which created the time to build two marketing channels from scratch. What used to get outsourced or skipped is now running in-house, and the 23.76% belongs to the business, not an agency.
